Nche And Mab Join Forces To Streamline Accountancy Education Accreditation
The National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) and the Malawi Accountants Board (MAB) have formalized their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The agreement focuses on jointly regulating Accountancy Training Institutions and their programs.
During the Lilongwe ceremony, NCHE CEO Ambumulire Phiri explained that the MOU aims to simplify accreditation processes for these institutions. Phiri emphasized the streamlined accreditation process resulting from the collaboration. In response, MAB's Acting CEO, Innocensia Ulemu Fiwa, highlighted the MOU's significance in avoiding redundant efforts. The agreement is valid for three years.
